Entrepreneurial software developers wanted for exciting opportunity

Hi Guys,

Thanks for reading on. I am the MD of a ideas development company based in Cheshire in the UK. 3 years ago we developed a software product to much acclaim, we raised finance and developed the product to a great standard. But we made a mistake. The hardware for the software wasn’t ready and thus the project was put on hold and we subsequently lost interest. But now with a whole new range of portable touch screen hardware devices available we are looking back into the project. And it is a very exciting project indeed. I’m not going to go into details of the project right here but it is a touch screen software and hardware application for the leisure industry with a potential market of tens of millions gbp. (it’s not a POS system!)
Previously we developed the software in flash. Now we want to use the ipod touch as the hardware platform so flash is not really appropriate. We want to redevelop (the rather simple application) to be optimized to this device using any web based ipod touch readable language.
I have a lot of belief in people working for a common goal as a cooperative rather than the draconian employee employer relationship. In my experience a vested interest leads to deadlines being met, higher motivation and good fun! So I am trying to gather a team or 2-5 developers to work a total of about 100 hours each in return for ownership of the work they have developed, and ownership in the company. That means we all work for free and share the profits when the project is complete.
If you are interested please get in touch with a few details about yourself, your coding experience, and your working style you can e-mail cjpwood@gmail.com

Although it's interesting, you really do need to tell us what skills we needs and what languages we need to understand. And do you need developers or designers? There's a difference.

In any case, this thread belongs somewhere else
