New Excalo.com

Hello! Thank you for all your gr8 feedback to my other two threads about excalo. Now I have a design that I am fairly happy with. I would love it if you would check it out and at least give it a rate in the poll (above)

I already know that its a little hard to read the giveaway of the day, and I'm still working on that and will update it soon.

Also, one person said that the gradient on the top excalo image was too strong (i.e. it was whiting the image out too much) but I think that isn't bad enough to fix. (I actually prefer it the way it is to a lighter gradient)

Enough said, go check it out!

p.s: Yippee! My 101st post !

Aceramic is an unknown quantity at this point
I like it... Personally, I'd make the text just a little bit smaller, but that's just me. Now I want to know two things...

1. How did you do the photo gallery thing?
2. Speaking of the photo gallery, where can I get wallpaper sized (say, 1280x1024) versions of the fractals?

On a completely different subject, do I know you?

I just happen to know a Nathan B. Who lives in AZ... Odd coincidence?

I'm glad you like it!

You mean how the images come up? That's called LightWindow. I didn't make it, I just use it. It's another version of LightBox. Google search for lightbox or lightwindow and you'll find it. It uses javascript, but you don't necessarily need to know js to use it.

Wow, I'm glad you like them! I uploaded a smaller size of the image because I kind of doubted any one would really want them and also mainly to save space, but I'll upload a larger copy and include links to it on the site right away! (By right away, I mean within the next week )

Edit: URK! I just just checked and it actually looks like I deleted the larger pictures, and just kept the scaled down versions. That was pretty stupid, huh? What would anyone do with a fractal except use it as desktop wallpaper? Well, thanks for mentioning that, because I probably wouldn't have thought of making the fractals bigger. In the future, I'll post wallpaper sized images. (Like how there's a large category, I'll make a wallpaper category)

I think I might have large copies of the landscapes, though..

Hmmm... not to say too much, I live in Mesa and I'm still in school. Still sound like you know me?
