I have to say it looks vaguely similar to the landing pages for parked domains. I think the simple layout is fine, but you will need to pump up the content. It seems a little bit too empty to be a full scale website, add a column on the right and put some of the site's highlights for example.

ya, I agree with twodayslate. You should really get some content in there. This is also important in term of SEO to pick some good keywords and get them into your page. This is another reason why you might want to work some text into the home page.

In term of the look, I really like it. the one thing i would suggest is to spice up your navs. At least add some hover to them.

  • well you have a lot of negative space on the sides which you should populate with somthing, ads n such.
  • instead of having the categories in plain link form you can make them css tabs.
  • you can have the little icons of the product link to a bigger image in a popup window.
  • instead of using a verticle slash to seperate the main links, you can have little icons.
  • maybe a slogan in the banner?
  • you can have the 'sneak of the day' in a more stylish css form than the rest of the items, to make it stand out.
  • bookmark link
  • maybe fix some of your 100+ errors, http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0

also maybe use a stylesheet, and this:

Code:
<td><font size="3" color="#FFFFFF">
is depricated. Either use a stylesheet, or somthing i dont recommend, but still works, inline styles.

Code:
<td style="text-size: 3; text-color: #FFFFFF;">

Looks good.

But a site like this will be dependent on ranking good in search engines, and from a SEO perspective your site needs lots of improvements.
