Page "reload" for the XMLHTTPRequest's return text
I am getting an XML file using the "text/xml" content type in a browser.
This XML is holding a XSL reference, so the XML is loaded and displayed in an HTML table.
Now, the user is editing the table and sending it as an XML hierarchy, exactly like he got it (with changes of values). The data is sent using a XMLHttpRequestm, with no HTML form involved:
http_request.open('POST', url, true);
The server, (which I can program either, more or less) is sending back this XML with changes of data (after validation).
Now, I need the data to be re-displayed, including the XML headers of XSL reference etc'.
I want to locate this new data in the window as the document source. (I can not use a client call of REFRESH or new GET url)
Is there any way that can be done? (maybe using the document or the window object?)
Thanks in advance.
