Unhappy Creating working formulas??

I am trying to create a page that a visitor can input what services they need and formulas within the cells will calculate the total they could expect to pay. Being a newbie at this I assumed when I started that my MS FrontPage 2002 would allow me to do this similar to how it would be done in a spreadsheet. I'm not finding that to be the case. I am also finding it difficult to find a tutorial anywhere that decribes how to do this. It is only simple math that I am trying to create...you know, add some cells down and get a total at the bottom.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good site that explains this, or give me some tips? Or is this just HUGELY advanced and I have no hope of figuring it out? Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi there,

If I understand you correctly, what you want to do is add up the numbers which a user gives you ?? Well you can do this using javascript if you wish.

You should create the fields where the user will enter their data and then give thiese fields names etc etc.

Then go to the javascript forum here and show us your code and what you want to do and we will point you in the right direction or give you some help.

Hope it helps get you started.

Thanks...

Thanks so much for the input...I'm glad that it doesn't seem too difficult. I will work on your suggestion and then post the question on the javascript board along with a link to the page. Thanks again.
