TABLE is too big

Hi,

I'm working on a website and now I've ome across a strange problem, which only occurs when I view the website in NS4 and a resolution of 800x600.

The problem is that a horizontal scrollbar occurs, because a table is to big. I have not set the width of the table so it would adjust itself to the width of the browser-window. The strange thing is that the table doesn't have to be to so wide.

I hope someone can help me on this!

The url is: http://www.mileswebdesign.nl/www.maeur.nl/index.php

Thanx michiel

zoobie has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Try setting the table to width="98%" and see what happens.

More solutions:

1) If the table uses more than 1 cell, try putting it inside a one-cell 100% with table

2) don't use NS4; let it die and stop the agony...

Table city!

Man, that's a lot of tables...
It doesn't matter what you set your table width at if the table cells in it force a larger width, either by having their own widths set or due to their content. I don't know if it's the case here because figuring out just how your site was constructed was a bit daunting for me at the moment, but i saw some cells with a width set at "1000" and some pretty large graphics, and what's with all the scripts?!!
