It doesn't seem like there's much of a CoD community at PUGG but I have a soft spot

for the franchise, so you are forced to glance at this thread at the very least. The latest

issue of Game Informer features an in-depth look at the single player mode and it looks

pretty amazing. Apparently the only major change that might occur is player progression in

multiplayer games, a la BF2. That will most probably be limited to single player missions

when all is said and done. Given that Infinity Ward is developing this edition, there are

already high expectations for it and by all accounts it won't disappoint. I thought it was

pretty funny that the executable is actually called cod3.exe, obviously alluding to the

major suckage of the franchise since CoD2.

Anyhow, I know this isn't breaking news for anyone but I'm curious what you people think.

I'm really ****ing excited about it...should be one of the better games released this

summer/fall, of which there are at least a million. I actually anticipate spending as much

time on this game as Halo 3 and SSB Brawl.
