bananafiend has a little shameless behaviour in the past
The ultimate beginners tutorial.

I posted earlier regarding my great exasperation toward the widespread obfuscation of javascript throughout the various tutorials of the net, and after days upon days of searching for explicit and skillfully written learning resources, I've stumbled upon the most succinct and clear resource I expect is out there for free.

It hails from http://jennifermadden.com/ and it is a godsend.

Since this forum is the leader of it's category(i guess anyway), and probably an early stop for many beginners, I thought it might be a good idea to keep a link here to this tutorial for the the next bananafiend. It's a really effective piece of work, and I think it deserves more exposure.

Anyway, it's just a suggestion.
