viewing SHTML on my PC

I usually build my webpages from my PC. I tried viewing one of my webpages that had SSI but it doesnt show up. Yes, the file has the .shtml extension.

Can someone help me with this? Thanks

You would need a webserver on your PC and run the page through the webserver.

Or if you wanted the whole kit and kaboodle then you could download PHPDEV> It has everything you would need to simulate a web server running PHP, Apache, MySQL, SSI, etc.
