Flash/JavaScript Interaction Problem

I have a fairly simple button code but it doesn't seem to work. Onrelease it is supposed to trigger a simple javascript function [which works but not from the Flash] and start a second movie on the page [which doesn't work either].

Could someone please help out a Flash newbie?

FSCommand("showAd")//triggers javascript
FSCommand("playTargetMovie","curl001_final_b.swf,0")//starts second movie
