that is certainly an improvement on the existing site... my inly suggestion is to perhaps spread out your menu a bit more, give it a little more padding perhaps - just to make it a little easier on the eye. or perhaps put it in lower case...

I like it too. Are the images necessary for the left-hand menu though (the ones in gray)? They look "too" anti-aliased, which makes the text clash with everything else on the site.

I'd either use text for those, or not anti-alias the text in those menu images.

Other than that, it looks great, and a lot better than the existing site!

I agree with both of the previous comments. The new color scheme is a definite improvment and it looks good.

It all looks very nice, although I don't like the disclaimer regarding typographical errors - not sure why.
I think it's stating that there usual is an error within its pages and if they're not responsible...who is?

Def. an improvement over the old design. I am not fond of the phone number 'floating' in the dark blue bar though. Also if you are going to round the corner of the Hot Products box you should round the top right corner of the other grey boxes. Just my $.02

I'm going to have to disagree with CitznFish (nothing personal just personal preference). The phone number looks fine to me. I hate it when you have to search all over a site to get a phone number, this was its nice and easy to find. I think adding a pixel or two more padding around the grey mailing list box and the product spec box might make it a bit easier to read.

Hey Wizard

Good job I like it. Nice layout and colour scheme. i agree with some of the points which could make it that bit better.

I did notcie two things though. The first only applies when I view it at 800 x 600 but the second is for both 800*600 and 1024*768.

1.. The very top dark blue line doesn't extend all the way to the edge it looks like it has had a chunk taken out.

2. The disclaimer on the bottom dosn't fit on. The last word appears to drop of below the dark blue border.

See the attached picture.

Actually most catalogs have the same disclaimer. This way if a price is listed at 10.oo instead of 1000.oo some schmuck can't take you to court to buy the item at 10.oo

I knew what that was all about when I read it, myself (which is why I didn't mention it)... just CYA... I totally agree with that, as long as the transactions are honest otherwise.
