making a time-activated macro

anyone know where i can find a site that gives me a downloadable 'macro maker'? i'm guessing that the best one would be MS Visual Basic, but i dont have it, and micro$oft dont tend to give free d/ls of their programs.

also, i need to write a program with it that does a certain thing at a certain time...if a macro maker can be found, i'll need to know how to make such a program...

thanks in advance..if you havent got a clue what i on about just ask

Roelf is on a distinguished road
if you want to activate a macro in MS-office, you can use the ontime method of the application object, do a search in the VBA-objectbrowser, should give you enough info ...
