using KDE with RedHat 8.0

I'll start by saying that I'm very new to linux. I installed the OS with no probs, but the only window manager it has is Gnome. I'd like to be able to run KDE inside it (either instead or, preferably, as a switchable option) so that I can use Konqueror.

Is there a way of installing KDE that doesn't involve compiling source code, or too much console work - something I'd be able to do?

Basically, I'd appreciate advice on how should I go about this.

Yeah, i think so. I think that you go to either: Prefrences or System Settings. Anyway, you have to look for 'Packages' Once you're in there, click to install KDE and the KDE add on (at the bottom -- I'm sure that's the wrong name, but it's a KDE Addon and it's at the bottom) Then I think it'll ask you to insert a disk, do that, then install it. Then go into Extras > Prefrences, and try desktop switching tool. I have Red Hat 8.0 and I think that's how you do it. *shrug* I installed Both KDE And Gnome when I first Installed Red Hat.

Good Luck - Aerzan
