How long to low-level format my 4.3GB SCSI?

I have an old AHA-2940UW PCI SCSI (1995) card and a seagate ST34371W hard drive (4.35GB, 7200rpm, 68-pin wide SCSI). This hd is pretty messed up and needs to be low level formatted. Problem is, it doesn't give me any idication of how long it will take. I need my PC up and running, so I need to know approx. how long it will take to see if I can find a time when I can let it format. I realise no one probably has done a low level format with this exact card and HD, but I was wondering if anyone has done one with something similar. Just for a ballpark figure. Thanx.

I would estimate less than 1 hour for that hard disk, I cannot be more accurate as a lot of other factors should be counted, I work with 200gb disk at work and when we format them it takes about 10 minutes as we just do a quick format.

FYI the difference between a quick format and a full format is that the quick format does not do cluster checking, where as the normal full format will check each cluster of the hard disk for errors after it has been formatted.

I know the difference between a quick and a normal format, but I don't want to do either. I want to do a low level format. The HD is pretty messed up. If the low level doesn't work, it goes out the window.
