Live Link to online chat board (threads)

I have an html code that I want to insert into my webpage that will list what is currently happening on a board and shows the first 6 threads. I was able to insert the code, but when I would refresh my webpage, it would not update and only listed the threads that were current when I inserted the code. I know there is an additional code that needs to be inserted so it reflects "real-time". This it out of my range of experience. If anyone might know how to edit this code, I would apprecite it. Thank you.
