Putting Videos on my Website?

I am trying to make my website more interactive and would like to put up some short (i.e. 1-3 minute) Educational Videos.

I plan on hiring a professional Videographer to make some top-notch videos.

But how do I actually get the videos up onto my website and working?

What is involved?

Thanks,

Debbie

Hello,

Putting videos on website is pretty simple. As a start, you can try this coding:
Code:
<video width="1000" height="1000" controls="controls">
  <source src="movie.wmv" type="video/wmv" />
</video>
This should be the HTML5 version.

Hi Debbie.

YouTube is one of the best methods for posting videos on your site. Go to http://www.youtube.com, create a free account, and go to your Channel Settings to get a basic design to your channel.

There is an "Upload" button at the top right of the page which will allow you to upload as many videos as you choose. Once you upload a video to your YouTube channel, you can embed it to your site and get more exposure.

Having a YouTube account will decrease the amount of bandwidth you'd receive on your hosting account because YouTube hosts it.

There are a lot of things you can do with YouTube. Let me know if this helps and good luck.
