Exclamation Css navbar button/text help

Hi there, I am building a few layouts and need help.

While building the navbar, I designed buttons in Photoshop (button.png) without text. The idea is to put text on the image, but in the "<li></li>" brackets.

The issue I am getting is this, the button is not showing the whole button image, it is just showing the section of the text.

How do I get the whole button.png image to show without changing the text size?

Thanx,
VaMoose

Redo the buttons and put the text on them. You don't always need an unordered list to do a menu.
