comet tutorial fails?

I'm trying to understand the tutorial about comet programming which can be found at: http://www.webreference.com/programm...g28/index.html

After reading all of the tutorial I copied the html source code which can be found on the first page on the tutorial, and I copied the zipped files (page 3) into the same directory.

When I load the html page nothing happen, the number of cd's ain't decreased when I try to buy some cd's by entering a number and clicking the purchase button.

I haven't got a clue what I'm doing wrong..it seems like the js files ain't called at all.

I hope someone is willing to help me out here..

First, look for messages in the error console.

Next, check to make sure that the zipped files were extracted into the same directory, not just sitting in the directory as .zip files.

Third, make sure that any references to those files have the correct path.
