Windows 2000

I would add it if I wasn't at the 10 options limit.

Windows XP here. It's actually pretty decent, when you turn half of the services off and the other things like the firewall, cd writing software and the extremely annoying ram eating screensavers.

And your missing Windows 2003 Server, I use that at work on my primary machine, XP Pro on my secondary machine, and 2k on my gaming machine.

And at home I use XP Pro.

Actually, I think Win2k is closer to WinXP than WinNT. This is evidenced by the fact that Win2k is WinNT 5.0, while WinXP is WinNT 5.1.

I had to get a MAC for music, that was a lot easier for me since everyone making music has a mac since an urban legend said that a mac is better than PC for music and design... Well, no comments about it. I'm pretty happy with it though. New MAC OS systems are amazing I've heard. But when it comes to programming and internet, I only use my good old PC with a win XP... mac ONLY for music (no other set up than my ProTools) and PC for the rest of my cyber life

they made win 2003 to be close to win xp, xp came off a win2k model. So in essenece if anything is like anything, xp is like 2k. But 2k is like NT...

Win2k3 Server looks like WinXP, but differs under the hood. Win2k looks like WinNT, but differs under the hood. Win2k and WinXP look different, but are pretty much the same under the hood...

But not forgetting that, conceptually, XP is the new ME, just as ME was the new 98, even though it was very much like an unstable version of 2K .. with more colors.

And gardening is the new rock 'n' roll
