Question CMS + Payment Gateway

I have been researching (for hours) on implementing CMS. I have only build sites from scratch and have never had CMS added to any of them.

I have come to the conclusion that for the site I am doing the research for, I do not need the full blown CMS systems such as Drupal or Joomla, for my client will simply be editing snippets of text. I believe that I could use something like Cushy or Perch or Snippet, or other simple CMS editors for the simple content pages like "About", "News" etc. I would just go with one of these editors but there is one page that will be a little more complicated, and I need advice about whether I am overthinking this too much.

I will have one page, which will be a calendar or set up like an agenda. Visitors to the site will be able to click the links on each day, which will take them to a registration box, where they can register for a class & then pay for it with a credit card. I will be using a 3rd party payment gateway, such as PayPal Pro or 2Checkout to process the credit cards. The client would feasibly like to edit each class information (very simple...a name and a picture). I don't know how this will interfere with the payment gateway but it this something that can be done using one of the simpler CMS systems or will I have to end up using something else?

This is all very new to me and I have NO idea where to go from here so any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't think that limit will be an issue....the classes are much less than that per session. Paypal does seem to be the most used/recommended except that a lot of people have complained about them doing charge-backs.

What about Content Management Systems?
