CSS Layout Problem

Hello,

I am new to CSS and am having some difficulty with a template I downloaded for my businesses website.

Basically, the brown image at the top used to be a different picture that came with the template. I edited the picture, making it shorter in height. There is now a gap between the bottom of the piture and where my text starts.

Using my webpage editer, I cant move everything up so I have tried changing a few things in the CSS file to relative and absolute but as I said before I am new to this.

Here is the URL http://www.manchester-travertine.co.uk

Any help much appriciated.

Kind regards

Mike

You need to rectify the errors in that markup first. For this, add a proper DOCTYPE at the top and then validate your markup using http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input

PS: It's a good practice to use lowercase letters for all tags and their attributes .
