submit an array to php

hi

say i have a variable

var a={div:'hello',list:{me:'yes',h:[1,2,3,4]},vars:[1,2,3,4]};

any ideas how i could pass that to php, store it, then retrieve it later?

any thoughts anyone?

If to be passed as an URL string,
can't it be done with just escape() & unescape()?
