Coder Needed

Hey,

I am looking for a web designer (must be proficient in xhtml/css, experience with other technologies a plus) to be my partner in my web design studio (I am a graphic designer). I will cover the cost of the domain and hosting, and you will have 100% of profits from projects that you complete. The only terms are that I will have full ownership of the studio, and you must code the layout that I made.

This is what the site will look like:

http://pixelbatch.com/home.png
http://pixelbatch.com/contact.png

My previous partner started coding the site but did not finish the project due to his lack of ability to implement a contact form script and to set up multiple columns etc.
Basically the site should look as it currently does (pixelbatch.com) but there should be two columns for each section (the graphic design section will be mine, the xhtml section will be yours), the contact form should work, and some small edits should be made that I'll mention.

If you are interested please email me at pixelbatch@gmail.com with some of your sample works (you should have many so that the web design studio is filled up).

If you can implement some script so that we could add in our works easily without tampering with code, that would be a plus. All works should be on one page, as on rahu.pl

In essence, this would be a dual portfolio. Both of us would benefit as we would both bring clients to a single site (pixelbatch), thus increasing awareness of our individual skills and in effect bringing in more potential buyers.

Thanks!

How would we split up profits? I normally charge by the hour. How many clients do you have so far?

Our clients would reaqlly have nothing to do with each other as I would be doing my own graphic design work for my own clients and you would be doing your own coding work for your own clients.

Here is where the "business" end of the deal comes in: Say that I design a layout for someone. In the footer, I will link our site, Pixelbatch. Now say that you code something for someone; in the footer of the site, you also link Pixelbatch. This way we are both advertising the same website, which means that we could expect twice as many people visiting our portfolios as we normally would, and in effect we would have many more buyers.

Also, one of the contact forms would be mine and one would be yours (the coder), and our clients would really have nothing to do with each other. If a client uses my contact form and requests graphic design work then I get all the profits, and if a client uses your contact form to request coding work you get all the profits.

then we individually decide how much we want for our work and split the money that way. Say a project is presented and I want $40 for the design and you want $60 for the code; we will charge $100 and split the money such that I get $40 and you get $60. This is basically a partnership and my goal isn't to make money off of you. The deal requires no sacrifices on either of our parts, as we owe each other nothing and basically make our own money while mutually creating a brand that will bring more customers to both of us.
