Newbie to programming!!!

Upon the advice of Eric Raymond(ESR),being a newbie,I have adapted python as my programming language.I have read a couple of books but none of them have programming challenges for the user.I was wondering if I could get any advice on any tutorials,website,etc, where I could get TONS of challenges.

I've been looking for some of the same stuff myself. Here's a couple of places, but some of the challenges may be very hard for someone just beginning:
