Installing Concrete5?

I'm really new to PHP. I understand the concept of MySQL and databases, but I'm very unfamiliar with terminology and the particulars. I apologize for this in advance. I've scoured the web and other forums and YouTube for tutorials and I haven't had any luck in finding answers, so I thought I'd post here.

I don't know how to install Concrete5 on my web hosting provider!!!

I'm using Dreamhost. I created a database within it. That's all I've been able to figure out. I have absolutely no idea where to place these Concrete5 files. Do I manually upload them somewhere on phpMyAdmin? Do I upload them via FTP? If so, what folder(s) do I put them in?

Looks like you'll need to upload them using your FTP client. Have you looked at their installation documentation?

There is all sorts of documentation on their site.

Thanks for the links! Unfortunately, I read through them, and could not find any Dreamhost-relevant help. I tried contacting Dreamhost's live support and was told that there don't seem to be any settings that need to be activated in order for it to work. Yet, it still doesn't work.

You won't find anything specific to your provider (or any other). Your first post asked for assistance but your second post says it doesn't work. What exactly doesn't work? What have you tried?
