A good Java Tutorial

hi I am looking for a tutorial of Java for people who already know JavaScript pretty well. The tutorials Ive found start from square one, and teach all the basic basic consepts. If I had lots and lots of patience Id just go through it all, but Im lazy and dont want to re learn half the stuff. So If there was a tutorial thats based on the pre existing knoledge of javascript, things would go alot faster and be easier to learn. Do any of you here know of such a a thing.

(I didn't know if i should have posted this in the javascript forum, but it seemed more relavent here)

I know some Java, but I don't use it enough to keep myself well-versed in it (always programming in VB, VB.NET). Whenever I want to know something about Java I go to DevX.

Try this page out: Need a hand with that first cup of Java?

As much as I hate to say it, JavaScript and Java are quite different. I struggled with Java for a while, then it was though my eyes were opened and I suddenly understood. I programmed with C++ in college, and that helped.

ok thanks. I had started to use sun's tutorial, but wanted to see if any were better, so i asked here. but that page u linked to makes sun's look good, so i guess ill go with that.
