Virtual Hangout - Client & Server Developer Needed

We are need of a new client & server coder.

Our last coder was happy with what we wanted, unfortunately due to him also having other jobs on we've decided its best for Virtual Hangout to employ a new coder who's 100% dedicated to one project.

Interested? Drop AlexanderJJJ a PM saying so, and telling us the following things below.

Quote:
Full Name:
Age:
Past Experience (if any):
What Coding Languages Do You Know (Actionscript, Lingo, etc.):
Why Would You Be The Best For The Job?:
You will also get pay which will be discussed and we have all art ready.

We wish any one that applies the best of luck.

- The Virtual Hangout Team

Is this a contract job where a specific project needs to be done, after which the coder's work will be finished? Or is this actual employment? Either way, putting this in the "medium projects $100-$500" forum doesn't really work, if the coder is expected to invest full time in it (unless you only need a full-time coder for 2 or 3 days).

We do have families to feed, you know.

When the job is finished, the person will get paid.

Payment isn't based on hours, days, etc.

OK, that's fine, a lot of projects follow the piecework model. The only thing missing now is how much work there is to be done, and the ballpark for how much you intend to pay for that work, and what kind of timeline you are looking at for the completion of the work.

are you willing to pay 50% upfront to start and 50% upon completion?
Also, would you consider hiring a developer that will work remotely?

If so, please let me know.
We're interested to take this up.

btw, i already sent you a pm.

I would pay after all of it has been completed.

I have been getting PM's about PHP, HTML, AJAX, etc. The coding language for this to be for the client: Lingo or AS3. Server: C#.

Developr has a little shameless behaviour in the past
So you're saying the client hasn't even been started?

No.

Though we did have an actual client & server running for a while when we had our alpha release. The client was coded in Lingo and the server was in VB.

I would suggest AS3 for the client to be coded in and the server in C#.
