Flash menu talking to jquery

I have set up a flash menu that I need to work with a jquery set of functions.

basically I have jquery set up to do pagination and scroll to separate div tags but the "animation" will only work if I use a regular HTML link, I need the flash menu to talk to the jquery so the scrolling works each time a menu item is clicked.

I hope this make sense. I've set it up on a test server here:

http://wmptest.com/accordion/deploy/

As you can see, I've set up an alert for the links in flash but do not know the correct function to get them to act as regular links, but when you click the simple "Caps" link below the flash, it activates the jquery and does what it's suppose to. Thanks for your help.
