hi i want to write a script for address diary in linux and i am looking for some sample scripts or exapmles to get started.i am new to linux and i am clueless , how should i proceed..please help..thanx

If you are new to Linux, then I would highly suggest you look up some Linux tutorials on the internet, there are plenty of them. Also, check into the standard Linux commands and how to use them. Learning a new OS takes a bit of dedication, but with something like Linux it will completely pay off for you.
