Memory Usage problems

Im on a VPS server with GoDaddy and right now my website is using 3.6 of 3.8 GB of memory. GoDaddy informed me that this was a violation. I'm new to server management so I was wondering, looking at the picture below, if anyone can give me some direction as to how to better optimize my server's memory usage. I really don't think its coming from site traffic, I expect it's from ineffeciencies in my programming since I'm new to PHP.

I really appreciate the help...

When running top, if you press o it should bring up a thing that will let you set how to sort the screen. Sort by % memory used.

According to your screenshots no one process is using any significant amount of memory but its hard to say for sure since you cut off the top of the output on the VPS screenshots.

Though I am curious, if this is your VPS, why should GoDaddy care how much memory you are using?
