Can someone write me some code to be used in a Windows Sidebar gadget

As i am a complete beginner i dont know which code this will be using but i need a very simple code that could be used as the html file in a Windows Sidebar Gadget.

All i need it to do is show an image from a url which i will put in myself and i need some scripting that will make the page refresh in certain amount of time.

If you are feeling gererous/clever could this refresh rate be entered into a box or picked from a drop down list. This last bit is not essential but would get you lots of kudos in my book.
