Alright I'll do what I can to give you a review.

Technical:
18 Validation Errors: http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...ouseayr.com%2F - Most are alt tags for images or a missing bracket somewhere. CSS also doesn't validate, but it looks like all of that is tied to your slideshow.

Negatives:
You rely on tables for layout.
The colors don't always mesh, for example the green the logo clashes (to me) with the background green.
The buttons contrast is rather hard to read, with a light green and white text.
You have a mailto link just on the net. Save this guy from spam and protect it!

Positives:
Site does what it should and no more.
It is simple and I appreciate that.

Meh:
The slideshow in the header is awkwardly placed between the site branding (logo) and the menu. I would switch it, and not put it on every page, just one.
Favicon is a P, but what does that have to do with the website?
I'm not sure if you want to show your listed on so many other sites, but thats just my wonder.
Same as the slideshow, I wouldn't put the Bookmark links on every page.

you can use my contact form instead of using an email address. PM me if you want to use it, and I can send you the code to integrate it into your template. If your in no rush, I will be posting the integration instructions on my website in the next few days.

I would tend to agree with the comments from jeremy.

especially: -

Why would you link to so many sites? the site they have already found should contain all the information they could want so sending them elsewhere is pointless.

the background green is the wrong hue for the buttons, which I like (and they blend with the garden greens).

Also, I think the icons along the bottom can give an amateur feel to the site.

And your 'no script' text I think, should be clarified. I get really annoyed when sites tell me I need JS to see it as intended only to find that JS is needed for the analytics tools as well. I want to be able to base my choice on the fuller picture.

Oh my god I got such a surprise when I opened that there, i'm from Stewarton (which if youre from Ayr is very nearby (near Kilmarnock))... currently living in France though so i've also been made equally homesick!
Edit: Ah, I see youre from mauchline!

As for a review! I dont want to get bogged down in technicalities because thats not what the average user cares about, im just going for look, feel and usability.

First thing I notice is the background, which is frankly a bit jarring against the more classily coloured rest of the site. Next thing my eye is drawn to is that the image at the top and the navigation bar seem distinctively off-center... it may be a trick of the eyes but thats how it seems.

Other than that, the layout's handled nicely, personally I would prefer a couple of columns just to save the user scrolling too far and just makes it a bit nicer. I feel for something like this business a small sidebar with things like your 4 star status and a few little icons and logos would really spice up the page.
