Help with resume

hi ,

Just wanted to have an advice from you people.

e.g i have done project or thesis in the uni for 1 year.

Instead of writing under projects , Can i write it under Work experience that i worked for 1 year in the project for 1 year.

Are they going to confirm that from some one?

I'm not sure if you should put that under work experience.

As far as what they will confirm, it depends if they want to or not. I do believe though that if they call to verify your work experience the only thing they will get is a confirmation if you worked there or not.

It depends on your referee, if you talk to your proffesor (one you are close to) add him as your referee and convince him that if anyone asks, then your 1 year project was an extra project you had undertaken. If he agrees then no problem.
I get a lot of CVs passing through my desk and although it may be obvious that people "sugar coat" there CV, as long as you are not taking the piss....
