anybody can help me to communcate between a javascript function that uses xmlhttprequest to communicate to a application running servlet/jsp ??

There is tons of information out there on it with a simple search on a search engine. What are you having problems with? Have you picked a library? Check out http://jabsorb.org/ or look into any of the others that exist.
