Urgent: developing a networking site. Pay possible.

Hello, my name is Justin,

I want to make a networking website for my college friends. I hate to call it myspace-esque, but it is. Is there anyone here who believes they would be capable of developing a myspace-esque site? It would be for event planning and connecting with each other. I would describe it in more details but I want to keep the idea largely under wraps. What I'm looking for is ability right now, and then details later. The site is not myspace obviously, but if you believe you'd be capable of cloning myspace then you'd be capable of developing my site. I am very commited to getting this project done. I think it could expand and turn into something big. It's really urgent for me that I get this done. I want to have it running by the end of the year.
As for pay, I am willing to pay if I believe someone is capable of putting this project together.

As for what I need, i'd need all the programming and website setup done, and then obviously an administrator to keep the site up and running after launch.
The design and layout of the site is largely developed by myself already but I'm sure there are many kinks and bugs that need to be worked out.

And for these beginning stages it doesn't have to be beautiful.
Initially I'm looking for functionality. If I can get the website to work on a technical level then I will want to make it look pretty later.

As for pay, I know right now that I can swing $1000. Yes I know that's very low, but if I must I can go higher if I see that you have what I'm looking for, which right now is experience and efficiency to get this project off the ground before the end of the year.
