Hi everyone. I recently built a site with a responsive template for the first time. I don't know a whole lot about css or web design. I worked with the layout of my template on my 21'' monitor (It might be 23") and didn't realize until I was done exactly what this responsive template was going to do. HEre is the link to my site
. I love the way everything looks on my monitor. All of the content is more or less centered on the screen. The menu is on the left and then there is a slideshow of photos on the right (home page). I guess I don't know very much about responsive designs because I didn't realize that the menu wasn't going move when when the rest of the page started to respond due to the size of the window. The pictures end up shifting underneath the menu. I figured all of the stuff on my page would shift left into the empty white-space until there was no more and then the photos would go underneath once their was no room. If you look at my site on a screen that is like 13'' or 15'', or something like that, I think it is all scrunched right now. This is very upsetting. I have seen a person who using the same system and theirs does what I want. This is their site
. Their site shift left until it runs out of room.
Anyone know how to fix this? I was so happy with my site until someone pointed this out to me. I don't want the look to change on a monitor the size of mine. I appreciate any help anyone can lend me, greatly! Thanks for your time everyone.
