Hiding a phone number from bots.

I have looked on the internet to find information on blocking bots from
reading your phone number but I did not have very much luck. I could not find anything that I could understand enough to actually make use of.

Dose anyone here know of a good way to block bots
from being able to read your phone number?

On my contact page I have my phone number displayed for
people who want to contact me but I would like to know if
there is a way to hide it from bots

I guess I've never really heard of bots looking for telephone numbers. What would the purpose of that be? Are you getting spam phone calls?

Anyhow, you can make this "Telephone: 819-xxx-xxxx" a PNG or GIF image instead of plain text. White text on a black 'transparent' color selection.
