Windows 8 & CS4

I am soon to purchase a new computer with Windows 8

Can anyone please tell me if I can run Adobe CS4 on Windows 8?
I have heard 2 different version.
1. It cannot be run
2. It can be run but using Run As Admin

Help much appreciated

Depends what you are looking for. I found four pages of matches for "Adobe CS4" here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/windo...stRequested=14
Looks like most are supported, one listed as not supported, and about 10 or 15 that have no info.

I have it installed on Windows 8 but Im getting problems after using it for an hour or more. I might have to reinstall it and call support for help.
