Free Youtube video downloader that really works

I'm looking for any freeware youtube video downloader that really works. Used some downloaders like video download helper, but any of them doesn't download full video.
I need to download in mp4 to play on iPad

follow the link and download the program (free of charge). Install on your computer.
When you first start the program, it'll ask you to choose the location to save the download video, so browse to your desire folder.

Next obtain the link of your youtube video and paste it into the URL. Hit 'Get Video' next to the URL bar

I usually use http://www.savevid.com to download Youtube videos, it's a pretty cool site and the best is you can also change the quality of video when downloading.

I never heard of the websites you guys mentioned but they might come in handy in the future. I only use keepvid at the moment and its a pretty convenient service. You can actually download the youtube video as 3gp or MP4. It depends on your preference.

This simple freeware application works pretty well, given how basic the interface is. It has two main features: to download FLV files from YouTube, and to convert them to most major formats.

Its better to use the Keepvid.com which helpful to download the video in any format that you wanted. I always try to download the mobile video from these website. It's amazing one.
