What is the most popular URL shorteners? I have a blog and often leave URLs to another sites.

My friend told me that I can get much money with URL shorteners

You just recommend URL shorteners to other people. When they use it you get payed.

I am not really sure that you can earn much money with them

Your friend is probably referring to URL shorteners that first send the end-user through a middle page that carries ads. Depending on where you are in the world it could be 'much money,' but generally it probably is not good money for anyone but the owner of the url shortener.
