How Do I Install All This Great Stuff?!

Hi, I've found some wonderful things on the internet; enhancements for my wordpress site that are javascripts and/or CSS. These are features like flash/hover buttons, sliders, animated 404 error pages, etc. I've spent the last couple of weeks trying to understand how I install all this -- without luck.

Where do I install these files on my host/cpanel: css, js, images, and so forth?

I would love to use javascript/css more on my site.

Thanks in advance for any advice or direction.

I'll try and help you with the Flash issue since this is the Flash part of the forums.

To use Flash stuff (animations, buttons, ui elements, etc...), you have to put the Flash .swf file into the browser. You can do this with the swfObject Javascript library. The down side is only users that have Flash installed will be able to view your content.

CSS/HTML/Javascript (HTML5) is probably a better way to go unless you're making a big animation or game or something.

Hi and thank you very much for trying to help me. I found CSS/Javascript that I can use but once again, I do not know where to place the files.

For example: Button Switches

Folder: CSS
Folder: Font
Folder: Images
Folder: JS
and also 4 index.html files

I am using a wordpressmu site. I have a CSS window on each page to insert code and of course the html. Do I place the entire folder on the host in the publichtml location? Or, do I place these folders seperately...and if so, where?

I have been trying to get an answer to this question for almost 3 weeks reading articles, etc. Any advice you might be able to provide I would really appreciate.

Best Regards,
Carol
