At the moment my computer is not up to date for new games and what ever.
I play a lot of football games such as football manager, championship manager and so on, currently FM07 only works on my laptop and i'd like to buy the new FM13 and play that, but i've already got FM10 and that don't work on my laptop.

Yes, i've been looking into it, think i'm going to build one, out of my old pc, just get a new motherboard & a few other new things, and i'm all good.
If you go the "build-it-yourself" route, make sure that you have a fast enough CPU, PLENTY of RAM (at least 6 Gig; 8 or more is better), and that the video card you purchase will be fully compatible with the chipset of the motherboard that you purchase. I've seen some issues due to a video card (that will mostly work) not being fully compatible with a motherboards chipset. The game would be smooth until there was a lot of fast-paced rendering, then suddenly the game would just crash.

Sorted it now, brought one from ebay, custom built, cost me £900.
if your looking for some upgrades, i would get some more ram. with that processor, like a gig of ram would compensate for the higher end games. and something like an nvidia fx5200 card would be a cheap graphics solution, since they are about 100 and are dx9. but how it is now you shoudnt have too many problems, as long as you dont max out the settings.
