Portfolio Review

Hey all. Made myself a portfolio site. There's no content yet, just the framework and a map on the "about" page. Using a server-side font and transparent .png images. I made the content (except the text box- I'm working on that) scalable and the background fixed to create a cool effect and resize when resizing browser window or orientation on a tablet. Let me know what you think!

Bump, would love some reviews on the site itself, the portfolio itself isn't up yet.

is the portfolio section going to be a long page where you keep scrolling to see the content you add? You have like Photography and Graphics - will these be 2 seperate section where the user can click in to and see like a small preview of the image and if they want to see more of the image large scale wise they click on it and displays in a popup.

Just a thought - i like the background of the website though - looks cool. Maybe add some social networking icons and link them up and stick it in the header of your website or even create a footer and put it there.

Have a contact us form and some sort of captcha to avoid getting spammed. At the moment anyone can email you - why not have the email address private from the offset.

It scrolls down in two separate side by side columns. Thoughts?

Can I remove my website address above? The edit button is not on that post. Getting a lot of spam. Thanks.

I think it would look nicer, if you made all that info centralized. At this point, the bottom part of the website looks too empty. I'd like to see the website when completed.

In future, contact an admin/moderator directly or simply report your post for such requests, otherwise there’s no reliable chance that anybody will notice. I just came across it by coincidence.
