Sync audio and text?

Hi

I'm trying to find the best solution for syncing about 5 paragraphs of text with an audio file.. kinda like an audiobook.

I've made something in Flash but prefer not to use that. I've read it's possible with JavaScript but I have no experience with it. I haven't found any demos that still work.

I really just need it to scroll vertically, like the Star Wars text, while the audio reads along. It doesn't need to be word-for-word accuracy or highlighting, just in sync with the scrolling paragraphs and finish around the same time.

can do it without sctipts using marquee tag, an audio tag, and transform css3 to pinch the text at the top.
