Unhappy Website CSS not working correct with Firefox and Opera

Hi,

I'm not a professional web designer, but I'm trying to put together a website for an architectual firm and need some help.

I got started by taking some template and started to modify it. Everything looks good in Chrome and Safari. IE was also bad, but I made a separate CSS sheet for IE. It still renders differently in firefox and opera.

The problem is that the blank space on top varies with Chrome and Firefox. (it should be like it is in Chrome). Probably because of that issue the stuff on the bottom won't line up correctly in Firefox.

Maybe its just a simple fix, but I have been searching like crazy what is wrong or how I could get rid of the top empty space so it would render the same on all browsers. I'm relatively new to making websites, so I know my coding probably sucks, but maybe someone could take a look, help me out and point me in the right direction ?

Because its modified from an existing template, there is a lot of unnecessary stuff in the CSS. The website is basically done, this is the only problem left. All help is greatly appreciated.

Do a Google search on "CSS Resets" and you will find your answer. Basically, you need to override each browsers default CSS stylings.
