Wordpress.. Am i good or Bad

Hi all,
I tried building a website using wordpress (www.pharmawiki.in)
Although i have tweaked it as much as possible, i still feel something is missing and that the site does not look professional. Can you please review my site and let me know on which aspects of the site i should work on improvement?

PS. I am a non technical who is a major from life sciences and hence never learnt the ABC of HTML in school

No offense but I can look at it and tell it was done by a non-professional. You can't fake design skills. Colour choices, fonts, images, etc.
