Need professional judgement about this web

I just done my exoterica---jobsearch.bz, and think the web is beautiful, beacuse i do it all my part time and all my energy . But my friend beat me that the web is ugly and have no feature, i need someone do not know me can give me some fair and professional judgement about the design, could you help me?

I think the website is doing its job perfectly. The design is simple and functional and doesn’t distract from the subject. I don’t know what “features” your friend ist talking about but in my opinion there is no point in having “features” that don’t mean anything, just for eye candy.

One thing, however: You forgot to specify a page background color. Don’t assume that everybody has the browser default, people can set background, text, and link colors (and font family) in their browser settings so you always have to specify this in your stylesheet if you want your styles to appear.
