Help fixing problems on my custom blogger template

Hello
I am looking to have someone help me with a template I am using for my blogger account. Sorry if this is the wrong category for this question!

I have been struggling along trying to make my blog aesthetically pleasing, but I know little of HTML coding and have basically been googling my way through it. I am very happy with the result, but there are some issues that I really need resolved. It probably wouldn't be much work for someone who knows what their doing, I just need help cleaning up the minor issues.

I basically just need help adding a comment box (it doesn't work and no one can leave comments) a few problems with the archives not leading to anywhere, adding a "follow me through email" button, centering the whole thing so it doesn't look so off on bigger computer screens, and the "Home" tab leading to the blog home page. So, just some cleaning up of some things that aren't working properly.

Someone recommended that I should consider getting a domain and hosting wordpress myself on a server. I wouldn't know how to do this, but if people think this would be better than blogger, and could give me some pointers to help me set this up I would appreciate that also.

If you like, you can visit my blog to see what I am talking about.

Thanks so much!

Okay, so do you have any info regarding my own domain idea?

I did buy one a while back, I just haven't done anything to it yet. Will it be super tough to make it look decent and use it as my blog?

Sorry, I am kind of ignorant, but trying to learn!

I'd recommend using 000webhost, they are just as fast as paid hosting.

On the sign up page for 000, it will say:

I want to host my own domain (domain must be registered already)
So you sign up for an account with your custom domain name (which should be registered already), then go to the control panel and click "file manager," and you upload files.

Not very difficult.

Ahhh wordpress... we meet again you devil.

I believe all wordpress sites have a ton of files and you should probably youtube some tutorials. God the first video link is this annoying girl named Lisa... not going to go into that but she's such a wannabe.

All you have to do is upload all those files to your server.
