Drupal 7 problems

Hi all,

I'm not really sure where this topic should rightfully be, but here goes...

I'm having problems in enabling Drupal to open pdf files. I created custom folder and placed among other folder D7 has.

I also installed PDF module that should resolve this issue, but it only works for me on localhost. On the internet the result is always "Page not found".

I'm using the same version of Drupal on localhost and on the internet (7.12)

I also can't seem to access images i placed into second custom folder, I'm getting "Not found" error message. Although my URL's are correct.

Can anyone help me with this?
