Flash MX Components Set 2 - Ticker

Hey All,

I just started playing around with the ticker component and I'm not getting anywhere. What I'm trying to do is have a horizontal ticker (similar to the one on the Macromedia home site here), rather than vertical.

I've messed around with the variables that can be changed in the actionscript, but I can't get anything to work with this.

I am relatively new to working with components. I was expecting to see someplace where I could easily add the text that I want to scroll along the ticker. Is there something easy I'm missing here as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
